Bear country!

John and I stuck around this morning when we dropped Summer off at preschool in order to watch her swim.  As soon as she saw us, she started crying!  After a few minutes she composed herself.  Later on she told me that when she saw us, she wanted to be with us….must be she doesn’t think about us all morning when she’s in school!

It was a rainy, blah day.  John and I hit up the thrift store while we waited for Sum to be done with school.  Then we all took a long afternoon nap!

Of course, we’re coming to that part of the day I love….heading up to the new house!  Not much was done today, but it’s still moving along.  Eli plans to put the porch on this weekend, and we’ll also order our kitchen cabinets….so measurements have to be made.

Then, as the title implies, we saw a bear on the way home!  Not a very big one, but interesting nonetheless.  It was the first time that we’d seen a bear when we were together as a family!

So this weekend will bring lots of work on the house for Eli, and lots of work at my job for me….so if there’s no new pictures, it’s because Eli didn’t get out the camera!
