Happy Winter Solstice!

Yesterday we celebrated the winter solstice by basking in the crisp, cool sunset!  What a beautiful day!

First, I crafted up some warm woolens for John…..which is a feat for this knitting impaired mama!  I felted a sweater, cut and stitched!  Voila!  Instant hat and gloves!

So out we went, for a bit of sledding….

And a bit of kitty time….

Renegade kitty living in the rafters....this is one of the feral cat's kittens from her summer litter.

Then we collected pine cones and made bird feeders to celebrate the solstice….

We’re jumping feet first into winter here!  How about you??
