Today was cold. Bitter cold. Which naturally, is a soup making day.
I’d been eyeing my one last pumpkin, and figured today was it. One word of Pumpkin Soup and Summer was cheering.
First, have the kids remove all the seeds from the pumpkin and begin to thaw broth :
Using hands is a must!
Cook it up, simmer it down, enjoy the warmth and smell in your home!
Ah! Cook it down, pour in some cream and it’s time to eat! (Full disclosure: this soup was done after lunch time. Summer tasted it, pronounced it yummy and now it’s put away for lunch tomorrow!)
Then Daddy took Summer out for a bunny hunt and John slept so….mama got her creative on! Just a little project I’m working on…I’ll share more later!
