Hair cuts & Hare hunts

Yep, we be country folk!  We get our haircuts at home and a good time on a Sunday afternoon is going on a bunny hunt!

He truly does enjoy it, don’t let the face fool you!

Actually,  my step-sister Sara comes to our house to cut our hair and has been for 10 years or so.  It’s quite handy as long as we can get our schedules matched up!

My dad called Eli and wanted to take his beagle, Lady, out on a bunny hunt.  Sounded like a good way to get outside for me!  It really was a beautiful day!  Cold but sunny, with big huge snowflakes falling at times!  Summer enjoyed it thouroughly and John, well, I’m not sure he’s that into winter yet.  He rode on my back in our Ergo carrier which really got my heart pumping and legs burning!  Especially in shin-deep snow!  But alas, he got cold and grouchy and we turned back for the last 15 minutes of the hunt.  I don’t imagine just hanging there keeps you warm but he certainly isn’t ready for walking in those conditions!

My dad, Summer and Lady:

Summer deemed herself The Grinch once she was inside this snow cave.  John immediately started rehearsing, “The Who’s like Krimpit A LOT, but the Grinch who lived just North of Whoville DID NOT!”
