Fat peas and crazy eggs….

Every day the kids head out to the garden to see what they can score for peas.  “Just pick the fat ones!”  I say.  Fresh peas from the garden, if eaten at the exact right time, are like nature’s candy.  So sweet and juicy….I’m not sure if I love anything more.

And our crazy eggs!  From left to right is a Muscovy Duck egg, a Mallard Duck egg, a chicken egg, a guinea hen egg, a bantam hen egg, and a quail egg.  If you’re needing eggs of any kind, I’m your egg lady!

You aren’t the only ones that love the peas… Gracie walksthrough the garden every time we leave the gate open.. she walks up and down the rows of peas and she just picks the “fat” ones… Not sure how or when she learned that but she loves them…
