In case you were thinking…

#1: Is there anymore Grassroots photos?  (LOL!) or

#2: Why would we take 2 (3 between all of us) kids to a music fest on a 100 degree weekend???

So to answer #1: YES!  This post will be the last of the photos…until tickets go on sale again next February and I’m reminded of the great times!

And to #2:  It was easy!  The festival has soooo many activities geared towards the kids that they can stay occupied easily, besides just seeing and dancing to great music!  All we needed was to have plentiful water and keep them full on cool fruit from the coolers with an occassional side of splashing in some water and we had ourselves some happy campers!

See for yourself!

Grassroots has an amazing group of volunteers that man the kids tent and encourage creativity in all sorts of ways!
Sue has this tent every year, with great ideas for handmade noisemakers for kids and adults alike!

There is always an area for all to paint by Saturday.  I think it’s one thing Summer looks forward to the most!

Speaking of painting, there is an amazing artist, Lisa Farrel, that does outstanding body art!

Nate and Kate did a super fun show for the kids, too.  Both of them have such sweet voices!

And when all else failed, we just put them in the wagon and voila!  Sleep!
