a working weekend

Much work has continued around here lately. The pull to move is strong! We started up the outdoor woodstove recently! It has made it wonderfully comfy and cozy inside. But monitoring stove temperatures, house temperatures, and the need (or not) to stoke the fire has proven to be difficult and time consuming, even from only a half mile away.

We’ve continued painting the living area, small section by small section….

We’ve also been working on the stairs, staining and sealing them and getting them ready to place…

Meanwhile, the pigeons have been busy too!  We have our first pair sitting a nest….in February!

Everything looks great! LOVE the stain for the stairs! Your front door is gorgeous( I’m assuming that’s the front door) If you have time can you explain the wood master thing…it’s huge and really neat looking..what does it do?

Hope you are getting a little rest:)
